Cancellation acknowledged via WordPress email as ‘confirmation of autodialing’???

Exasperated Greetings: I had high hopes of getting my site up and running.
After several hours, I contacted WordPress. The young lady was more ignorant than I, dragged me around on the phone for 1.5 hours before referring me to her ‘team of experts’, who never got back to me. I cancelled. She then became obsessed with retention. I clearly stated in a recorded conversation, Thank you but no. If they can solve my problem here, help me get the site up and running, then I will re-subscribe. She said no. So, again, I cancelled any Word Press subscription, with the reference
# 42712147. Imagine my irritation when I received an email confirmation that stated I had given permission to auto renew the charge amount in September 22, rather than the refund that was promised. She should be sent packing. Please help. Thank you.I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Can you send a link to the site associated with your request? Was it hosted here with us? I wasn’t able to find a ticket with that number, so I’m wondering if you may have been working with another provider.
