Cancellation and backup

    Hello,

Me and my team are managing a non-profit math website for our high school. We are cancelling the subscription for the entire summer and plan to resubscribe back in September. I learned that after cancelling the subscription, you can store all the data in a backup and restore it when you resubscribe. However, on the WordPress the documentation, it says that the backup only lasts for 30 days. Can you please tell me whether it’s possible to have the backup for a longer time, because it doesn’t make sense for me to subscribe for a month when nobody will be using the website.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

As stated in our documentation, a backup only last for 30 days. But why don’t you switch to a yearly plan, you save a lot of money and I mean a lot of money. Now you pay a lot more of money for your monthly plan.
