Cancellation of account

Hello,
I need your help on how to cancel my account with wordpress.com. I purchased a 3 yr hosting under the TMDHosting plan with a domain name that I presently use in all my udemy learning courses on which I’m now taking. Now I’m presently learning the course on how to – ‘Becoming a WordPress Developer: Unlocking power with Code. My problem now is how to cancel my present wordpress account and use instead my current active domain name in my 3yr TMDHosting plan that I have already purchased 3 months ago. Can anyone help me please?

Hi there!
Please note that your WordPress.com account and the sites under it are on the free plan. So you don’t have to cancel the account or delete the sites in order to continue hosting your site with the other hosting company. In fact, a WordPress.com account can be useful for self-hosted WordPress.org sites (which are WordPress sites you host elsewhere).
For example, you can add features like stats, social sharing, security, and more by adding the Jetpack plugin to your self-hosted sites and connecting them to your WordPress.com account. You can learn more about Jetpack and its features (both free and paid) here: https://jetpack.com/features
If you want to delete the WordPress.com sites only, you can follow the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
But if you want to close the WordPress.com account as well, which will delete the WordPress.com sites too, you can follow the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
