Cancellation of Upgrade

  Hello, I’ve been trying to cancel my upgrade and it is not letting me.. And it upgrades tomorrow! I was told to contact this support team! Please help! Or it will charge me 70 Pounds!!

  Hi Glulia,

  I’m sorry for the trouble canceling the WordPress.com Premium plan. I voided the renewal charge, which means the transaction to renew the upgrade was cancelled on our end and you won’t be charged.

  However, since you used that plan to register thelondonfoodqueeries.com, you’ll need to either purchase that domain (for £18) or cancel it entirely. Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  Would you like to keep that domain or shall I cancel it for you? (If you want to keep the domain, I can send you a payment form you can use to pay for it separately.)

  Hi Glulia,

  I see that you decided to re-purchase the WordPress.com Premium plan, which includes a renewal payment for your domain (so you don’t need to pay anything more to keep the domain). Do you want to go ahead and keep that full plan?
