Cancellation request for WordPress.com Premium

    Hi, this is Amy.
    I’ve canceled “Advanced version” because I chose the wrong plan. I canceled on April 19 but I don’t get my credit card refunds record, So may I apply the refund to my original credit card ?

    Hi Amy,

    I checked your account, and I see that you cancelled WordPress.com Premium before the charge went through. That means WordPress.com never actually took a payment from your credit card.

    Your credit card was being authorized for that payment, so it’s possible that your credit card company shows a pending payment on your account or reserved the funds to make that payment. However, the payment did not go through. You will need to contact your credit card company to find out when that pending payment will be removed from your credit card and the funds will be released back into your account.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that.

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for replying to my question, I used debit cards instead of credit cards and I have asked my debit card card company, WordPress.com need debit back then they will unblock the funds after 7 days.

    So please debit back the amount to my debit card, thank you for help.

    Hi Amy,

    There is nothing for WordPress.com to debit back — the payment was cancelled before any payment was made from your account to WordPress.com, so we did not collect any funds from your account. If your debit card company is holding those funds, there is nothing I can do about that on my end. You will need to wait until your company releases those funds for you.

    I’m sorry I can’t do anything more to help with that!
