Cancelled domain

  Immediately after buying my domain, I realized I should have been using wordpress.org instead of wordpress.com. I cancelled it right after. How long until you guys release the domain so I can re-buy it?

  And if it doesn’t get released for a long time, any way I’m still in the window to buy it back from you?

  Hi there,

  When a newly-registered domain is cancelled, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that a domain will be available to you again once cancelled. I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear from the warnings when you cancelled your domain.

  There’s a slight chance that we can still get the domain back for you now if you want to have it registered here. In that case, please let me know as soon as possible and I will see what I can do!

  Yes please! I will happily buy it back from you, if that’s still an option. I’ve figured out how to use it elsewhere even if it’s registered through you, so it’s no longer a problem. Sorry for the confusion! Let me know what you need from me.
