Cancelled Domain- Trying to transfer

    Hi- I signed up for a domain here yesterday, http://www.centeredinprimary.com, and I did this in error. I was trying to go through Bluehost & was confused about the process. I cancelled the paid domain membership here so that I could try to go through Bluehost instead, and I’m getting this error on Bluehost:

    The domain centeredinprimary.com was registered within the past five days with another registrar (Automattic Inc.). You will need to wait 60 days before trying to transfer. Some registrars allow deleting the domain within 5 days of signup. If the losing registrar supports this, you may be able to delete the domain and signup for the domain here immediately. Check with the losing registrar (Automattic Inc.) for details.

    Please let me know what I need to do to hopefully free this domain & start it on Bluehost. Thank you!!

    Hi there, when you cancel a new domain it will go into holding for a bit — that’s the 5 days they mention. We don’t have a hold cancel, but please let us know which of these options works best for you:

    Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again here or with another provider.

    Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.

    Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here after all, buy a plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

    I gather the last option isn’t ideal for you, so which of the first two do you prefer?

    Thank you so much, I was panicking- can’t believe I did this. I think I’ll just try waiting the 5 days. How exactly will I know when it’s been released? Can I just keep refreshing the address and it won’t say “This domain is parked” anymore?

    Yes exactly. To clarify, at this point the domain has been returned to the registry and is beyond our control. Because of this we don’t have any insight into the timeline for release, so keep trying until you see it is available.
