Cancelled WordPress.com preventing wordpress.org site

I need help. I first started a WordPress.com site and directed my domain to it, I uograded to premium. I then realised I wanted WordPress.org site so changed DNS settings on my hosting service and deleted WordPress.com site however I go to the WordPress application in my web hosting server to access the site and it directs to WordPress.com saying that the authors deleted the site and it no longer exists. How can I fix this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I checked and there’s nothing here at WordPress.com linked to the domain nutrition.com.au anymore. You can point that domain to another web host by changing the DNS with your domain registrar — if that process isn’t working, you’ll need to contact your registrar for more help with that.

However, I also visited nutrition.com.au and wasn’t directed to WordPress.com. When you make DNS changes, it can sometimes take up to 72 hours for the change to fully propagate. In that case, you may need to wait a bit longer to see the change take effect on your end.

    Thank you.

The website is http://www.overallnutrition.com.au, are you directed to wordpress with that one?

The first DNS change to wordpress was so quick I was getting concerned this was taking so long, I will give it 72 hours.

Have checked with host and DNS settings are right. Just hoping from wordpress it unmaps soon!

    Hi there,

Sorry about that! I accidentally wrote the domain name incorrectly in my reply earlier. I did check your domain overallnutrition.com.au, and that doesn’t direct to WordPress.com. You probably just need to wait a bit longer to see the change on your end.

If you’d like to try speeding up that process, you can try flushing your computer’s DNS cache. However, that’s completely optional — you can just wait and your computer will update itself without flushing the cache.
