  I want to cancel my plan. You seem to make that not an option. How is this done?

  I would be happy to assist you in cancelling your purchase. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into cancelling the subscription purchase.

  Darnell! I’m baffled. I want to eliminate whatever wordpress accounts I have — I think two — and yet retain my domain of gavindillard.org

  And I don’t know what the purchase was, or what is supposed to be charged on the 28th — but I want out, and only to maintain my domain name.

  Dammit. I have two possible emails, both the same name, but one at mac-dot-com, the other me-dot-com.
  I don’t know what the upgrade is/was. Is that the annual fee for the domain?

  Hi there,

  The upgrade was just the domain and that is the one that needs to be renewed in February. Yes, it is the mac email – if you can log into the account associated with that email, you should be able to access the upgrade.

  Allegedly I get billed tomorrow. But that’s for the domain. Okay with that. But I don’t understand the concept of an upgrade. Is an upgrade the same thing as a renewal in your terminology?

  Your domain upgrade is what is being renewed, if that makes sense.
  So gavindillarddotorg.wordpress.com is the free URL for your site.
  gavindillard.org is the domain upgrade of the free URL you purchased for your site.
  The domain upgrade is set to auto renew every year under your account.
