Cancelling domain

  I am trying to cancel one of my domains, because I have created one that I like. However, WordPress will not allow me to cancel one of my domains. How do I do this so that I do not have to pay for two domains when I just want to own one domain?

  Hi Joseph,

  Since you’ve already paid for both domains (and domains can only be refunded within 48 hours of purchase) you might want to consider keeping both domains for now. You can always cancel the second domain before it renews next year.

  If you’re sure you don’t want the second domain, I can cancel it for you. Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can move it instead: Move Your Domain to Another Host

  In that case, please let me know which domain you’d like to cancel and I can take care of that for you.
