Cancelling my account

Hi,
I’m really screwed and I need more help than you might be able to give. My web design company was pretty shady and kept login info of things like namecheap. And now they’ve disappeared–busy signal, no emails for days. I need to scrap this project and take my losses. But if I cancel my account, will that cancel whatever it is I’m charged yearly for the website? I know this won’t solve the namecheap problem. I don’t even know what I’ve paid to WordPress or where my money’s gone. Will cancelling my account at least stop something from charging me yearly? Any other insight you can provide on how to get into my namecheap would be welcome. -
