Cancelling my domain and receiving a refund

Hello, I was told that I can receive a refund if I cancel my domain subscription 4 days after billing. I was billed on the 25th, even though I thought auto-renewal was turned off. Today is the 29th and it didn’t give me the option for a refund even though I no longer want to use the domain. Looking for help thanks!
