Cancelling my WordPress subscription
-
I thought I had already cancelled my account. I received an email today stating that I was going to be charged a renewal fee. I once again went to my account and cancelled everything – this time I hope it worked. If not I would like to cancel my account entirely. I DO NOT WANT ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES FROM WORDPRESS ON MY CREDIT CARD. PLEASE CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT. My hopes of using WordPress were dashed when I found that the claim that WP states regarding the ease to which you can create your own website were false. This is telling because the minute I created my account I was solicited by numerous companies selling their expertise at creating a WP webpage – not as easy as advertised. Please cancel my account.

You’ve deleted your above site. To ensure that you have no recurring charges, I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance.
Please refrain from posting into other people’s threads on this topic. Thanks.

I was just posting on the “contact us” link. If you do not want people posting on the forum why do you not create a proper contact us link – one that would direct the user to a support link and NOT a public forum. Seems like common sense to me.

Hi there,
I checked your account and can confirm that your subscriptions have been deactivated and you will not be charged.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
