cancelling order and migrating to new host at godaddy

  hi,
  i had just purchased a hosting + domain package from wordpress.com.
  however, i would like to seek for a refund and migrate to godaddy.com.
  please kindly advice

  Hi there,

  I’d be happy to refund the WordPress.com Premium upgrade for you. Since a domain name was registered with it, there are two ways we can proceed:

  1) I can cancel and refund the entire Premium purchase, including the domain foodventuras.com. This will lead to a total refund of $99. The domain will become unavailable for several weeks; after this period, anyone may purchase the domain name. If you’d like a complete refund, and are okay with the prospect of potentially losing foodventuras.com, this is the way you’ll want to proceed.

  2) If you want to keep the domain, I can refund the Premium purchase, less the domain registration fee. This will lead to a total refund of $73. You will be able to continue to use your domain name, foodventuras.com, either here at WordPress.com or with another hosting service such as GoDaddy. After 60 days from the registration date, you can also transfer it to another domain registrar if you’d like.

  I see that another user on your blog purchased the WordPress.com Premium upgrade and the domain, so I will need that user to reply here to confirm which option to take. (If you own that user account, as well, you’ll just need to log in with the same username you used to purchase the upgrade. Then you can reply here to confirm.)
