cancelling unexpected auto-renew

I see nothing anywhere in my account that shows anything about automatic renewal. (Nothing in ‘My Profile,’ ‘Account Settings,’ ‘Manage Purchases,’ or anywhere else.) There is no place to cancel it. There is no listing of a purchase. I received no warning. The first I heard of this was in your emailed ‘receipt.’ The two links in that ‘receipt’ lead to nothing that I can change. I did not, and do not, want this to auto-renew.

What is the URL for the site for which you the upgrade renewed? The eiablogger account you’re using to post here only owns a site on our free plan, and has never bought any upgrades from us. You’ll only see the option to cancel an upgrade if you’re logged in as the username account that owns the upgrade in question.
If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
We send several reminder emails before an upgrade renews, starting as much as 90 days before the expiration date. If you did not receive those your email provider might have filtered them as spam.
