Cancelling unused WordPress services

    I’ve just been billed again for services from WordPress but as far as I can see I have no paid for services running. Please can you tell me how to contact your accounts department to ensure payments are stopped and refunds are made.

  • We have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

    Thanks for the reply to my Forum post. I entered the transaction code from my bank statement and the search engine found the transaction and the receipt supposedly linked to this free blog. But there are no receipts on the tab for this. These payments have been taken from my account for a number of years and as far as I know I have never ordered this service – whatever it is. Please could these payments be repaid and any future transaction arrangements cancelled.

  • Hi John, I’ve merged your new threads into the current one just to make tracking this a bit easier.

    The wpchrg.com site should let you contact billing directly if you’ve found your charge. And if that didn’t work, can you clarify whether you used this link to reach out?

    We can email you directly to get the payment ID if needed:

    We just wouldn’t want you to post that here in our public forums, which is why we’re trying to get you routed to private billing support through one of the options we mentioned. Plus those tend to be a bit easier than looking up the payment ID.

    OK Apologies supernova – it’s quite difficult to work out how best to contact WP about accounts matters.

    The receipt number of the current receipt which the system can’t find seems to be #51115287 I think. The number disappears after it has been displayed for a couple of seconds.

    There’s a danger we could end up going round in circles here…

    I have submitted all the information as requested. Please read my responses carefully. All the information you need is there. WordPress are taking payments from my account which need to be repaid please.

  • I’m afraid we don’t have access to info you type in the transaction search form. We’d only have that if you then also submitted the contact form to open a billing support ticket. However, searching, I can’t find any tickets you have submitted and that’s why I sent you an email directly. You can reply with the transaction ID, which you shouldn’t post here, on the public forum.

    Once you reply to the email, we can advance from there. There’s nothing more we can do on the forums.
