Cannot access account

    I have tried several times to use the steps outlined in the forum for Account recovery and end up going in circles. I fill in the details to recover the site and then says to go to password renewal and then takes me back to the start that the account is registered to another wordpress.com account. I provide the transaction ID and yep, you guessed it I go round in circles. Very FRUSTRATING. Obviously I bizarrely have two wordpress.com accounts so how can I consolidate those and get access. Paying$96 and not getting access is not good.

    I do not see any upgrades under your @writermarks WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site associated with the upgrade you are needing help with? Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    This is all very bizarre, I would send you a copy of the receipt #69613297 however I have no idea how security works in this public forum so I hope the receipt is sufficient. I can provide the transaction ID as well but again security concerns me.

    Thank you for not posting that information on a public forum – you’re absolutely correct in your line of thinking :) .

    We have this helpful tool here: https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ whereby you can track down the charge using that transaction ID and request a refund.
