cannot access backend

OK i have been writing endlessly without help or reply from WordPress……….
someone (I THINK) has gotten into my account and did something because my username has changed to stolenidentity. I assume someone has stolen my identity.My 2 blogs aquaticbiofuel.wordpress.com and algaefordevelopment.wordpress.com still exist and they are redirected to http://www.aquaticbiofuel.com and http://www.algaefordevelopment.com but i cannot see them when i log into wordpress……THE BACKEND DATA HAS GONE the info is still been redirected to the web address but i cannot edit the content through wordpress, because there is nothing there
PLEASE SOMEONE ASSIST. I have had some replies but no-one has really understood the problem….is there a number i can call?

Please make sure you add /wp-admin to the blog address in order to access the dashboard. Can you please try clearing out your cache? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

the problem is that someone has gone in and changed the admin priveleges I AM NOT STOLENIDENTITY . So i tried what you suggested and logged in as per below:

HOW CAN I EXPLAIN THAT TO SOMEONE…..THE SUPPORT SYSTEM AT WORDPRESS IS HOPELESS I HAVE BEEN BATTLING WITH THIS FOR OVER A MONTH NOW

The username used to be my email address now it is stolenidentity…how can i get it back……

It seems there are two account with similar e-mail addresses. One ends with @gmail.com (your account) and the other with @gmail.org . Though the e-mail username is the same.
Might it be that you are referring to your @gmail.org account instead? If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password by entering your email address here:

Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive two separate emails during the reset process, so make sure you read them both. If you don’t receive the emails right away, check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes :)

There is no such thing as gmail.org….my account both email and WP is (email visible only to moderators and staff).
Maybe i am not being clear using my username i.e
(email visible only to moderators and staff) and password i can get in….but there is nothing in the file…there are no blogs to be seen. how is that possible?tony

I have finally found the problem, i was using my username and password for wordpress.com and not for wordpress.org where my blog exists…..
its all there, thanks for your patience and explanations, you are the only one who had some patience

i can still log in through wordpress.com , but all my posts are gone and the user is stolenidentity…. -

1. What is the URL of the blog you can’t access?
2. What URL are you trying to log in at?

I have 2 blogs
http://wordpress.aquaticbiofuel.com which is redirected to http://www.aquaticbiofuel.com (domain owned by me and purchased through godaddy.com)and http://wordpress.algaefordevelopment which is redirected to http://www.algaefordevelopment.com again (domain owned by me and purchased through godaddy.com)
when i go into wordpress.com to edit and add postings to these 2 blogs/sites there is nothing there and i cannot change or edit anything…..i can still log into my wordpress site but the postings are gone…I have noticed my username has changed to….it is stolenidentity NOT MINE and i did not change it. My last posting on the aquaticbiofuel site dates back to Nov of last year…..
I assume someone has probably gotten in there and changed some settings….in any case i cannot see my posts for either site nor can i see the sites…they still exist when i type thr URL’s but i cannot edit the content on the backend cause its not there!
I hope i have managed to make that clear its rather confusing and daunting
if you try and access the backend of th blogs through wordpress by using username and password you can get in but there is nothing in them! you can try
go into wordpress.com
username: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
password: piramidei have tried using different browsers cleaning caches as some others through here have suggested but no luck!
its weird how the posts and url’s exist but when i go into my site which is where they were created they are not there!! + who is “stolenidentity”

These blogs are still owned by the user who created them, nothing about that has changed.
We’ll need proof of ownership, so please contact us at support@wordpress.com via the email address on the account, or include the account’s API key, and we’ll proceed via email.

thanks I will contact support but i had never registered as stolenidentity…..by asking me to contact support, does that mean that something is wrong with the backend…
are you able to see my blog postings there?

No, it just means that we need proof of account ownership, and cannot handle that in a public venue.
