Cannot access my site

  Hi! I tried to access my site which usually takes me straight there without the need to log-in. Today however, it asked me to log-in which I did after resetting my forgotten password but instead of taking me to my site it took me to an older, now abandoned wordpress site. The site I tried to access has my own domain name, the abandoned site has the wordpress domain. Can anyone explain why I can’t access my site to add content?
