Cannot access newly created blog due to not being logged in

Hi All,
I recently made a blog for a friend, but I was not logged in when I created it, and now when I try to access it when I’m logged in, it tells me I need to be invited by the admin, and when I’m not logged in, it tells me to log in. I don’t think that I have an account that will let me access the site. It has definitely been created, because when I try to register the domain from my account, it tells me that it has already been taken. Thanks for your answers in advance! -
It sounds like you created a second account rather than adding a new blog onto your own account.
If you do not know the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:

I don’ t think that that’s the problem. I was allowed to make a domain without logging in at all, but once I logged in I could not access the domain as it was registered by a user who was not logged in and therefore was not recognized as me.
