We have a message that presentationlanterndbq.org is expired. I checked with GoDaddy and we are registered until 2020 with them. I left a message with your phone contact (877-994-9757) on Thursday. Oct. 27 and again on Friday Oct. 28.. I am desperate to take care of this so we do not lose our site and so that I can transition us to one of your paid websites. PLEASE REPLY ASAP to Beth at [redacted]

Hi there,
presentationlanterndbq.org has not canceled yet – it will on 11/15. I would be happy to assist you in renewing your subscription. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Until recently, you were able to renew an upgrade that was under your account, but now only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Thank you, Darnell,
First and foremost, are you a WordPress agent or do you represent another company? I see that you responded to me via the forum. I want to retrieve our site and then transfer it to a paid account with WordPress, but to keep our domain name with GoDaddy at least through 2020.I am the “webmaster/blogmaster” for the site http://www.presentationlanterndbq.org and have been since we set it up in 2010 to begin our journey toward a full website — it was the “free” option.
The account that was probably registered under the person who was working with me at the time. she merely did the set up and I generated the pages of the blog to resemble, at the time, a website format.
I want to get our site retrieved before 11/15/2016 and I want to select a paid theme to transfer our information to. I know I will need to edit after I transfer. I need to look at the available themes and prices as we are a non-profit and I need to have the OK from my director.
I have a WordPress account, as I logged in to reply to you.
Please advise me for my next step ASAP! I hope this reaches you and that you can guide me through the process.

I do not represent another company – I am an Happiness Engineer with Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com.
Please check your account now – you should be all set to renew.
Thanks!

THANK YOU, Darnell!! I am back on to the blog and I changed the blog theme to a better format and will do some updating and editing. As soon as I get updated in the next week, I will explore website themes and see what works into our budget. I might contact you if I need direction to transition into the website format. Again, thank you for all of your help. I am so relieved!
