Cannot access own website

  I cannot access my website (https://cdbourke.wordpress.com/) because the insitution that I used to work for has discontinued my email; as a result, I cannot receive emails to remind me of my password or login details. When I have tried to change my email address to my current address, none of the emails come through despite an on-screen notification that they were sent. Ideally, I would like to re-access the website so that I can keep using and updating it, but if that is not possible without my old email address, I would like to have the website taken down.

  Any advise on how I can proceed?
