Cannot access with username or email

I set up another blog (NOT the one I am logged in with now) in July of 2011 with the name caringheartnetwork. I never needed to use it until now. First, it told me it didn’t exist. It does…here is the exact URL: http://caringheartnetwork.wordpress.com/. Then, when I tried to reset the password, it won’t take ANY of my emails. To further my frustration, I cannot find any activation emails in any of my email accounts to authenticate it. What steps are available to me now?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The login link is http://caringheartnetwork.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Oh, darn, I can see I wasn’t specific enough, or perhaps you didn’t read through my entire post?

You say I have to be logged in as Admin… I cannot follow your initial directions to login as ANYTHING, because I can’t login. (Did I explain that incorrectly in the first post?) How could I login with the exact same user name when wordpress says it doesn’t exist? And my password doesn’t work?

As I explained, I am logged in right now under a different blog, because that was the only way to post anything in the form. Lucky I had a another personal blog to use, otherwise…?)

Even at that, I already went through all those steps, and got to your last suggestion for recovery. Obviously, the information I submitted didn’t work, and I don’t have authentication emails, so that form will not work, which is why I was asking this forum if anyone knew what my next step would be.

I really don’t mean to be rude at all. It’s just that I already wrote all this to the forum, out of desperation…am I perhaps not reading your directions correctly????

Or, is there no next step, and I have to give up that account and that name. Help?

In July of 2011 WP.com did not send out activation emails, so you wouldn’t have gotten one.

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/caringheartnetwork the USER does not exist. That doesn’t mean the blog doesn’t; clearly it does. But whoever registered it registered it under yet a different username, neither that one nor the one you are using here.

If you cannot recall the username you used to create that blog, then presumably we could flag this for staff, but where they would normally ask you questions based on the contents of the blog, here you have no contents, so there is no way to identify the actual user. So yes, perhaps you will have to give up that URL.

    I see…thank you.

If I could show staff that I have that name registered with Bluehost (as a paid website, also without content at this time), do you think that might be enough to show ownership? (I created the one with wordpress because I was concerned that I would not have enough technical ability to create a website from the ground up with Bluehost.)

It is all very strange, because I didn’t even know you could use a different user name than the actual blog, so it’s all got me very confused.

If staff could check on it, and it turns out that it isn’t me/mine (which would be totally, completely weird and bizarre) I would know the second they told me the user name that was used.

How would I know if it’s something staff could pursue for me?

Registering a domain with Bluehost has nothign whatsoever to do with registering a different domain at WP.com even if they are similar.

I do realize that, of course.

I don’t know how else to show that I set it up. (Not that it proves it, of course, but all the facts fit.) :-(
