Cannot add martinaornets as editor

  I have invited the user martinaornets to my private blog dynameo.at as an editor. She does not get an invitation e-mail. I resent the invitation several times without success.

  The strange thing is that she can log into dynamo.at. However, she cannot write new articles. She can comment on articles. She is not listed as a user of my blog.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  She was initially invited as a Viewer (see Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard).

  Try re-sending the editor invite and ask her to check her spam folder if it’s not in her inbox.

  Thank you very much for the fast reply! I found her in Settings > Reading. I deleted her there, went to the invitations page and sent an invitation.

  I asked her to check her spam folder. However, it looks like the invitation is not really sent. See http://cl.ly/image/3H000X031Y11

  Note that below the invitation for pieber2013 you see “geschickt an pieber2013” which is German for “sent to pieber2013”. However, below the invitation for martinaornets it does not say “geschickt an martinaornets”. What might be the reason for this?

  Ah, I see. The wording seems a bit confusing, then. I hope the invitation e-mail goes through this time.

  I looked at the invitation e-mail that was sent to pieber2013. Below the “Accept invitation” button there is a link “unsubscribe”. When I clicked it the webpage subscribe.wordpress.com opened with the following text:
  “You will no longer receive invite emails from WordPress.com at (email visible only to moderators and staff) – to start receiving invites again, click here”

  It just occurred to me that maybe she clicked that unsubscribe link on one of the invitation e-mails? That would explain why she gets no new invitation e-mails, right?

  I tried to find a way to verify and/or change that setting for pieber2013 without using the link from the e-mail. I looked at all settings I could find. However, I could not find it. I suppose there must be one. Otherwise you could not turn on invitations again if you had deleted the e-mail, right?

  It is entirely possible, we’ll need to work with the specific user on that directly.

  Has she checked her spam folder?
