cannot add new story to my blog and cannot assign it to any category

I have been fighting with adding a new story to my blog. Unfortunately I wrote it twice, at the moment of clicking publish it, nothing happened. I could not save it, could not see it before publishing. I was hoping that in the morning there will be a draft saved somewhere but there wasnt. I also cannot assign my new blog entry into an existing category, there is only an option of creating a new category. SO I tried to create a new one, and it did not work also. I thought elementor might be a problem as it was newly installed so I switched it off but nothing changed. Please help me asap.
