Cannot change email address

    This is for wordpress site eco-inteso.com hosted with GoDaddy
    I can change the admin email address in Settings > General, received the confirmation email at the new address and confirmed ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).
    But I cannot change the email address under My Profiles . I change it, press Save Changes and it intimates a mail has been sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but it never arrives.
