Cannot connect to Facebook

  I cannot connect to facebook. Get this error message:

  The Facebook connection could not be made because no account was selected.

  I have followed the advice on the wordpress support area about de-selecting wordpress on the apps settings page of facebook, but that doesn’t work either.

  Any ideas please?

  I’m having the exact same issue. Hoping it’s just a site problem.

  Hi there,

  There was a problem on Facebook’s end earlier which prevented new Facebook connections, but that should be fixed now.

  Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back into WordPress.com and Facebook and you should be able to create a new connection.
