Cannot drop back widgets

  Hi.I encountered a funny problem, buy yet very annoying…I can drop widgets on my sidebar, but I cannot drop them back in the main widget bar.Please anyone?

  You have to drag them down and not let go until you see the other widgets moving around to ‘make room’ for it. Otherwise it won’t stay put.

  If this doesn’t help, please let us know which browser and version you’re using. That might be related.

  Thanks for the quick reply.I was trying not to let go until the other widgets are moving around…But they are not moving around anymore.It worked 30 mins ago, now i’m stuck…I am using Win XP sp2, IE6

  It feels like the main servers are not responding to my commands anymore.I am from Romania, Europe…Is there any way I could refresh my connection with the wordpress servers?

  oktawianoss.wordpress.com please have a look.I want to get rid of that sonific songspot widget, cause is blocking my text on the main page…huh

  Strange. We usually don’t have these issues with IE. Have you tried deleting your browser cache and cookies and doing a forced reload? That might help.

  Can you rearrange your widgets in the sidebar and put another one where the sonific songspot one is? That might be a temporary fix.

  I deleted all cookies, and temporary files, aswell all offline content from “Internet Options”. Ialso restarted my computer, logged out and in my dashboard.Nothing seems to help.I can rearange widgets, I can add more widgets in my sidebar and save the results, but I cannot drop them back, as the widgets in the main bar below, won’t change their position, no matter how long I would wait.If I will change that sonific songspot’s location with another, wont help either (I tryied) it enlarges my sidebar width and keeps it in front of my pages right up corner… :(

  I have taken a look and looked through the other threads the search box turned up for me, but I can’t find anything else. At this point I think you’ll have to wait till office hours reopen in about six hours and then contact staff and ask for some help.

  I selected another theme, and reselected mine…I lost that annoying widget…will never touch it again lol…
