Cannot embed public google docs .pdf file

Cannot embed my publicly available google documents .pdf file

The embed link for the file is:
    <iframe src=”https://docs.google.com/a/edutronic.net/file/d/0B2dmeNl4foM8TUplMllCNUQ5V2c/preview” width=”640″ height=”480″></iframe>

and the journal to which I’m trying to add it is:
    nautical11.wordpress.com

I’ve done this successfully often before, but this time when I hit ‘publish’, it just gives the link to the embedded file rather than embedding it.

    thanks for your help!

I’m sorry, but that embed code will not work because we remove JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags for security reasons.

Please read this guide to learn how to embed a Google Doc into your page or post.

If you wish to embed the actual document into a post or page, you can use external services such as Scribd or Slideshare.

Can you explain why it has worked in the past? Is this a new restriction, or has google altered its embed code?

The link within the embed URL isn’t correct. Please carefully read this guide on how to grab the correct embed code.

    Otherwise use this code:

    [googleapps domain="docs" dir="a/edutronic.net/viewer" query="authuser=0&srcid=0B2dmeNl4foM8TUplMllCNUQ5V2c&pid=explorer&a=v&chrome=false&embedded=true" width="640" height="480" /]

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you kindly for your help.

I used the copy and paste function to embed the original URL, but obviously the code embedded within was wrong. I will read the instructions again.

    Best wishes

    Chris
