Hi @tayman0522,
I hope you’re having a nice day. Regarding your domain, I would like to let you know you can’t see it in your account, because it not connected to it, it is actually hosted through another WordPress.com account.
For security reasons, we cannot provide you with either the email or username associated to it, unless you prove your ownership.
I would recommend contacting us at help@wordpress.com, and provide us with proof of ownership. If you do know the account it is connected to, you can log in to it, and follow the steps of our domain transfer guide.
Thank you for reaching out to us through forums, we are here to help!

that’s the problem, I don’t know which account it is tied to. I can’t seem to find anyone who will tell me based on the information that I have. I understand the security of the account but it should be obvious that I am the owner of I am the only one who can’t access it

Hello @tayman0522,
I completely understand why this situation is frustrating. If you are the owner of the domain, it can be confusing to find that it is connected to another WordPress.com account and not know which account has access to it.
For security reasons, we’re unable to confirm or share the email address, username, or other account details associated with a domain. This helps protect domains from unauthorized access attempts, even when someone is trying to recover a domain they believe they own.
The next step is to verify ownership of the account through our Account Recovery process:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
The recovery form may ask for information that can help verify ownership, such as:
- Transaction ID – This can be found on your bank statement for a purchase related to the domain registration.
- Activation URL or key – If you received an activation email when creating the account, you can use the verification details from that email.
- Two-factor authentication details – If 2FA was enabled, the recovery process may use this as part of verification.
Please do not share any of this information publicly in the forum thread. Instead, submit it through the Account Recovery Form so our team can review it securely.
Once ownership is verified, the Account Recovery Team will provide the next steps to help you regain access to the account and review the available options for your domain.
I hope this helps clarify the process. Please let us know if you have any questions while completing the recovery form.
