Cannot get GATEWAY page to look the way it looks in the template example.

The template is shown with the three featured posts (and associated images) lined up horizontally. My page is showing them lined up vertically, one on top of the other. How to I adjust this to make it look like the template?

On which site is this, please? The site indicated in your post, https://templeemanueltuscaloosa.wordpress.com/, is using the retired Mistylook theme, not Gateway.
