cannot install jet pack

  Hi -I am unable to install jet pack on https://head2toewhitchurch.co.uk

  I have tried auto install via admin but when I go to ‘et up jetpack’ the page just cycles round and does not connect to wordpress.

  I tried deactivating / uninstall – same issue

  I tried manually installing from wordpress and get a 404 when it tries to connect to this page:
  https://head2toewhitchurch.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack&connect_url_redirect=true&calypso_env=production

  The iste is up and admin is accessible

  Any ideas?

  Hi –

  It looks like there’s a connection issue between the site and Jetpack. This is the message I see when running it through the debugging tool.

  We were unable to validate a security token for Jetpack communication. Please try disconnecting Jetpack from your WordPress.com account, and connecting it again.

  The first thing I’d suggest is making sure that there are no other plugins actively working on the site. Disable them all, leaving only Jetpack. Try to connect the site again. Write back if that does not work.

  Hi

  Thanks for coming back to me – no luck I’m afraid.

  I disabled all plugins. Activayed Jetpack but still had the same problem. When I click ‘et up jet pack’ it just cycles back round to the same page.

  Any other ideas?!

  As it happens I have 5 other sites with the same problem. I’m hoping solving this one will lead to the issue with the others.

  Hi @martinrtr, I went to https://jetpack.com/support/debug/ and got an error about your security token.

  Usually this issue is a problem with accessing xmlrpc. Are all six of these sites on the same server? And are all of your other sites at the same host?

  I’m wondering if the server is blocking us from accessing it. We have more troubleshooting info here:
