cannot login to wordpress

  We migrated WP installation about two weeks ago in a sub-directory, all worked fine. Last week the site had a problem, file manager showed many entries of deleteme:wpnnnnn – we removed these. Then I could not login and phpMyAdmin showed the User was no longer in the database. Added user again and I have used phpMyAdmin to change password – no effect. I have requested email password change – no email received. I have created new admin user – WP says username or password error but cannot receive email to change password. I do not know where to go from there.

  We can’t help as you are clearly speaking about a self-hosted site or a site not running on the wordpress.com platform. You must take a look in the documentation at wordpress.org to solve this problem yourself.
