cannot register new contributors

  People whom I have invited to be new contributors are not able to register as contributors. I tried it myself and was also unable to sign up as a contributor.

  Hi there,

  Could you walk me through the steps you’re taking, and describe the difficulty that your users are having in joining?

  I send a request to contribute via WordPress. They respond and sign up as users, and they are asked to set up their own blogs, but there is no option for them to create or confirm participation as contributors to our blog. I tried doing it myself and got the same results.

  Once they create their own account, the should be automatically added to the blog they were invited to.

  If that isn’t working for them, please have them contact us at support@wordpress.com
