cannot remember email, password for wordpress site – recovery email not working either

  I have a site — karimcurrey.wordpress.com
  I cannot remember the username, password, nor the email account associated with the page. It appears to be hosted by wordpress? I am not sure. I have searched all bulletin boards and no one is able to help me. I would like to take that webpage over again but I cant get in. If I cannot, I would like to just delete it forever. Can someone help me out?

  Hi there,

  What I can do is e-mail the address associated with the account so that you can check all of your e-mails and see which one receives the message. All you would need to do is respond from that e-mail to verify ownership. Then, I will definitely be able to assist you in regaining access.

  Thank you staff-doublebassd. I did not receive any emails on the accounts I usually check. What I am thinking is — at one point I had a domain name and it might have been registered to that. But since I no longer have that domain, I guess the emails should come back to you undeliverable?

  Otherwise, I don’t know what it could be.

  Hi there,

  If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.

  In order to regain access to your account, the best bet is to remember all e-mails that you own and use the password recovery tool to see if any of those e-mails receives the recovery e-mail:

  We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

  However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it – just let me know.

  Thank you. How long does wordpress hold on to the blog name before they let it go? Since, I cant remember the email account associated with the account nor the other details, does wordpress just release the address after a certain amount of time?

  And, yes if you can mark it private that would be much appreciated.
