cannot renew my site as it doesn't appear in my domains

    I have just had an email re renewing my domain julesfrusher.com and it directed me to WordPress.com. I followed the instructions but cannot find my domain in any of the dropdowns. When I did some further research I discovered that, somehow, it is registered with Wildwestdomains. I have not had any communications from them regarding renewal. Do you have any idea what might be going on? Thanks. URL = http://www.julesfrusher.com. It’s self hosted.

    The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that domain upgrade.

    Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.

    Hi again, not sure I understand what you mean, but there again I don’t think my first post was clear enough. This is because the original form asked me for the website I was having problems with and I had no choice but to put the ladydespenser url although that is NOT the problem site.

    The site I can’t find to renew is http://www.julesfrusher.com. I cannot remember getting another WP account, let alone be able to log into it. As I lost any information when my password app crashed, I can’t even look back to see whether there was another account at all. Is theer any way I can find this out? Thanks

    You were clear in your description, perhaps I was not clear in my reply.

    The WordPress.com user account you are posting from (ladydespenser) does not own the julesfrusher.com domain registration. The domain is owned by a WordPress.com account by the name of loneskye. You need to be logged into the account that owns an upgrade in order to renew it.

    Most often, this happens because at some point in the past you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that is the account that was used to register julesfrusher.com.

    Based on the email address for that account, I suspect it is indeed a secondary account of yours.
