Cannot transfer website hosting from WordPress to GoDaddy
-
I had a website created in WordPress.com for a domain that I owned, then decided that I needed more flexibility and transferred hosting to GoDaddy with the WordPress.org installation. I deleted all websites associated with WordPress.com. All went smoothly at GoDaddy’s end, but when I try to access my wp-admin link, I get the following error message:
‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’
GoDaddy confirmed that the new domain mapping has been done correctly, and that there is no reason why I should not be able to access my WordPress dashboard.
Any thoughts on how to get this fixed? Thanks!

Hello there,
We need details please.
1. What is the domain URL?
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Hi there!
Were you referring to brentwoodpsych.com? If so, I am able to see the self-hosted site now. DNS propagation takes some time which is why you may have saw that warning for a short period. Let me know if you still see the warning sign.
Thanks!

Thanks very much for your kind responses — looks like the problem was related to very delayed DNS propagation. Frustrating as heck, though.
