Cannot upload theme

Hello, I purchased and downloaded the theme Allure from Envato Market, as it states it is compatible with WordPress. However I am unable to upload the theme to wordpress and do not know why. Can you please help? Thank you.

You can’t upload a theme on a free website. To do so, you must upgrade to the Business Plan.

Ohhh gotcha… I was hoping to do some editing before actually upgrading and making the site live. But I guess not lol.
Can you explain then how to import after the fact? Do I just drag the .xml?

Hi –
After you upgrade to the business plan click on My Sites – Design – Theme from the dashboard. From there you can upload the theme file from your computer.

So actually it allowed me to upload the Theme without upgrading – but now everything is strange and out of order… I am wildly confused. If I upgrade will the theme balance out? Or do I need to upgrade and reload it? Thank you.

What is the URL of your site? Doesn’t sound like your’er talking about lutopieofficial.wordpress.com. Based off of what you are describing, it sounds like your site is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
