Can’t 2FA as SIM card is without service
-
Hi, my name is Cassio and I own @cassiocontasimples.
I am having an issue logging into the account as I have 2FA set up but since I have moved abroad, my home SIM card (the one registered with the account), for some reason that I do not not why, does not have a signal so I cannot access the account.
Also, I may have deleted the email account associated with this wordpress account was for a company I started and have closed down. I don’t remember if the email is set up with my personal or my previous business email.
I have sold the domain and naming rights to Conta Simples to another entrepreneur and I need to pass him the ownership of the blog. Is there any way that I can recover the account?
Thanks,
Cassio

That’s why you get the Backup Codes when you activated Two Step Authentication, it’s the only way to get back in to your account is by using a Backup Code.

Hi there,
I see that you have generated and confirmed the Backup codes. If you still have access to those codes use them to regain access to your account.
