Can't access blog

Been trying to get onto my blog for the last half hour and can’t seem to access it. Nothing will load. Receiving the “The connection has timed out” screen.
Tried accessing other wordpress blogs and have same problem.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Is the service temporarily down?

Service is not down for me. I am in Canada. If you are having trouble accessing all wordpress.com blogs perhaps you have a connectivity problem. The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. There may be problems with your web host. Have you checked for known issues with your ISP?

Do you mind saying where you are situate and how you access the internet and wordpress.com?

I am on the west coast of the US, North America – from time to time my ISP will hiccup and things will go not so good for a few minutes. Other people have had local network problems and some at work networks will do strange things when linking to WordPress.COM sites.

I’m in Cambodia, and use the wi-fi network of the NGO I volunteer for. Have never had problems before. The connection to this site is via satellite i think, possibly via Thailand (we are very remote here).

Not being able to access any wordpress.com sites suggests some kind of blocking to me. This is the contact link for Staff hopefully they can help you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
