  The email I used on my wordpress blog is no longer active and I don’t remember my password so I cannot access the account because I can’t have a new password link sent to me

  I really like wordpress. I don’t want to have to rebuild my blog. It took me a long time!

  FYI The blog was NOT under the account I am in though. I had to make a dummy account to talk to you and access site features.
  (email visible only to moderators and staff) / (email visible only to moderators and staff) were attached to my old site but are no longer active.

  @jennifercoe73151117 we can’t grant site access without proof of ownership. Since you made a purchase on the site though, you can prove you own it.

  That is currently a free site, but it had an active upgrade at one point, and the payment details for that upgrade can be used to verify ownership.

  You can see https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/ for details on how to get that transaction information. Once you have a transaction ID, submit it via the account recovery form and we can help you regain access to the account.
