Can't Access my Site

  I can’t access my site and I don’t understand why. When I try visiting it from any device, it just shows an error. On my wordpress dashboard, I can see the site but i can’t view it or write a new blog post. However, if I turn on a VPN, it is accessible. I can’t understand why this is so.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, it is.

  When I try to open my site, even just to view it, or to write a new post, the page will load and won’t stop then chrome will say there is a connection problem because the page took so long to load.

  However, using VPN, it loads as normal.

  Yes, that is my site.
  When I try connecting, chrome tells me the site cannot be reached. I asked a friend to try accessing it from their device and it showed the same thing.

  I’m in Uganda. And when I tried accessing other wordpress sites, they opened just fine. I asked a friend of mine to try accessing my site on his phone and it still refused.

  Ok, can you tell me the internet service provider yourself and your friend are not able to see the site on please?

  Also, are you able to connect to another internet connection and tell me if you’re able to see the site please.

  Yes, the internet service provider me and my friend used is Airtel Uganda.

  And also, as you suggested, using another network, MTN Uganda, I can access the site. But I mostly use Airtel and I can’t understand why this is is so.

  Hello there,

  Ok, you would need to reach out to the ISP to see if there’s reports of any blocks to WordPress.com site.

  The reason being is that it has been know that country blocks have been imposed for certain sites in that location.

  A block is also evident as it’s visible via one network, but not the other. I hope this helps.
