I am trying to access my site https://cageratlr.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and i get this message ‘User sqedmonton Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as ‘sqedmonton’ and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for ‘Cageratler’. If you are not ‘sqedmonton’, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are ‘sqedmonton’ and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.’ I don’t understand why as it is my site and my domain name. Please help. Thanks

That’s all you need to know right there.
You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
If you are not logged in under that account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
If the login information has been lost go to
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-passwordIf required use the account recovery form
https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ -
P.S. Just in case there is a glitch I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Hi there,
The account/username that you’re contacting us from is not associated with cageratlr.wordpress.com. The site is under a different account. Do you remember creating a different account?
Let me know, thanks!

Hi i am having a similar access issue. un able to get back into my site http://www.varrasso-consulting/wp-admin
displaying 404 error- page not found. was working fine earlier today.. -
@varrassoconsulting
varrasso-consulting.com is hosted by hostgator, not by wordpress.comIP Address: 192.254.233.89
Name Servers:
ns6465.hostgator.com
ns6466.hostgator.comYou are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting and posting to the wrong support forum.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
