Can’t access my wordpress account and can’t get my password changed

Hi there,
my new website did just go live two weeks ago. I had somebody build it for me. For that reason he also registered my website on wordpress.com He gave me the username and password and it worked fine. But now it doesn’t work anymore. When I try to login into wordpress, I get told that I am using the wrong password. Since the wordpress account is not registered with my email. So, I don’t receive the email that would allow me to change my password and the guy who built my site has not gotten back to me until now. Dilemma, dilemma. Has anyone an idea how I can get my account back?!
