Can’t access old blog set up under non-existent email

  I no longer have access to the email address that I used to set up a blog (back in the aughts!) and am not sure how to prove ownership since the three options on the Account Recovery form all happened after I set up my blog and do not exist. One idea I have is to provide a picture of an original piece of art I made that is on the blog that I still have; would that work? There are also pictures of me on the blog – I have those files and also that face… And last thought is the blog name is the same as my Instagram handle where you can see I’m the same person and have been for a very long time. Thoughts? I know things are easy to spoof, but if these accounts are substantially old, can that help? And at the end of the day, if they can’t, how do I access the option of making the blog private so I don’t have to worry about it being on there for public consumption? Thanks!
