Can’t access the dashboard or make new post

  Everytime I try to go back to my dashboard, the site keeps bringing me back to the editors site where I’m working on my website design. Even after asking AI to give me a direct link to the ‘make a new post’ page, it still brings me back to the editors site. I’ve been on this for days and it’s quite frustrating. I’m also on the free plan. Please I really need help

  Hi! This is a common confusion with the newer WordPress.com interface. Here’s how to fix it:

  The new WordPress.com editor can feel like it traps you in one place. Here’s how to get back to your dashboard and create new posts:

  1. To get to your dashboard directly go to: wordpress.com/home/sophisticatedbeautyhub.wordpress.com
  2. To create a new post directly go to: wordpress.com/post/sophisticatedbeautyhub.wordpress.com
  3. In the editor, look for the WordPress logo (W) in the very top left corner — clicking that should take you back to your dashboard.
  4. You can also click on “My Sites” at the top left which will show you your site and all the options including Posts, Pages, and Dashboard.

  The new block editor interface can be confusing at first but once you know these shortcuts navigating becomes much easier!
