Can't access the wp-admin for our site

    Good morning!

    My name is Jemme Hinson. I am with Harvest Church in Lexington, SC. Our website is the-harvest.org. Our hosting service was recently migrated from Webfaction to TsoHost. Since then, I have been unable to gain access to our wp-admin to edit our website. Each time I login it gives me an error message saying ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ I have not received an email. We did have someone else design this page for us back in 2018, but as far as I know, he has been completely removed from our wp-admin site. I did check with him just in case he received an email with instructions, but he says he did not. I am working with TsoHost to see if there’s an issue from that end that’s causing our trouble, but thought you would know best since it’s a WordPress error message. I tried to login to a WordPress account using my wp-admin login credentials, but kept getting an error message saying you didn’t have an account with that information. So I created a free account so I could access the support chat and contact you. My phone number is I need to get this resolved ASAP so I can edit our website. Thanks for your help!

    The site I need help with is the-harvest.org. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
