Can’t access wp admin

    Hi, so I’m currently hosting my WordPress website on siteground and lately, I have not been able to access my WordPress admin page through siteground. Every time I click on WordPress kit, then WordPress admin, nothing happens. I’ve also tried to access my admin page by clicking on site tools, then the WordPress install and manage button, then I select login to admin panel. Every time I try to do that, it brings me to my site where it says Error 404.

    I’ve also tried resetting permissions through site tools but nothing works. What do I do and why is this happening?

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear about the issue you’re having. Have you tried contacting Siteground yet? As your hosting service provider, the site’s files on are their servers so they have access to them to help you better.

    Also, please note that your WordPress site with Siteground is using the WordPress.org software. We primarily provide help with WordPress.com sites on this forum. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
