can't add owned domain

  I own the domain Promnis.co but can’t add it to my wordpress account. When I select to add a domain and type the above I ultimately get reset back to step 1/4 after step 3/4 or 4/4.

  I have already modified the DNS from my Google domains account to point to wordpress to no avail

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  There is a problem with the New Site process at the moment.

  Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back in and start creating a new site again.

  On step 3, select only the free *.wordpress.com domain. Then select your plan on step 4 and finish creating the site. After the site is created, go to My Site ->Domains to add the domain mapping upgrade, and you should be good from there.
