Cant buy premium for my site, get told “You are not authorized to view this”

  Domain hasn’t been transferred yet. Moving it from square space. Just trying to buy premium but every time I try, I’m told “You are not authorized to view this page”.

  Additionally, when I try to access certain settings, I’m told I’m not an admin. What do I do?

  I can see your Premium plan is active and the domain transfer is ready to go, but the domain is currently locked on Squarespace’s side. Before the transfer can start, you’ll need to:

  1. Log into Squarespace and unlock the domain. You can find this under Domains → Transfer away.
  2. Grab the auth/EPP code from Squarespace while you’re there.
  3. Head to https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/ and enter the code to kick off the transfer.

  Once the domain is unlocked and the code is submitted, the transfer typically takes a few days to complete.

  I’d also recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account given the unusual activity: https://wordpress.com/me/security/two-step-authentication
